Built on Royal Deeside

Nestled in the heart of Aberdeenshire near Banchory, Burnobennie Distillery was founded with a bold mission: to rethink whisky from the ground up.

From day one, we've embraced innovation and sustainability — using a highly concentrated wash, nearly twice the usual strength, cutting water, heat, and energy consumption while creating a spirit rich in character from the very first drop.

Our carefully crafted mash bills, combining pale, crystal, and chocolate malts, give the new-make spirit depth, texture, and complexity that sets it apart. But Burnobennie is more than technique — it's a hub of creativity and collaboration, from working with breweries on beer-driven experiments to supporting local environmental initiatives like the River Dee Trust.

Tradition meets forward-thinking design here: each drop is born with density and flavour, made with respect for place, process, and planet — a craft spirit for those who value both innovation and authenticity.
